"The visible, intensified"

News, 21 September 2026

In Correspondances, Charles Baudelaire describes perception as a field in which colours, sounds and scents answer one another. The visible becomes part of a sensory system extending beyond the limits of the image.

The Visible, Intensified takes this idea as its point of departure, bringing together three artistic positions in which colour does not merely describe form, but creates presence.

Petra von Kazinyan’s cloud-like formations move between the organic and atmospheric, the bodily and immaterial. Maxim Svishchev pushes colour towards an almost hyperreal intensity through reflective surfaces and digitally constructed forms. In Olga’s works, the human figure encounters an altered visual environment of colour, light and spatial distortion.

Together, the three positions approach colour as a force capable of reorganising the visible and intensifying the very act of seeing.
