Viktoria Andreeva works with photography in the field of tension between body, movement, and space. Her works arise from choreographic situations in which gesture, light, and surface merge. She explores how form and perception interpenetrate each other. For her, the body becomes a medium that conceives space, stores memories, and makes movement visible as knowledge. Her visual language is based on superimposition, reflection, and the interplay between sharpness and blurring, creating textures that oscillate between presence and dissolution.
Andreeva studied Photography & Audiovisual Media in Vienna. During this time, she realized a book project in collaboration with six dancers from the Vienna State Opera, combining photographic portraits with interviews, which attracted a lot of attention. For her work, she received a gold medal in the Trierenberg Super Circuit (Fine Art / Nudes) and was included in One Eyeland's ranking of the "World's Top 10 Fine Art Photographers." In 2023, she was the official visual face of the XIV Florence Biennale, where her photographic works were presented in urban spaces and integrated into the Biennale's visual campaign. Her works have been shown in exhibitions and projects in Vienna, Paris, Milan, Budapest, and New York.
